A dombtetőn álló szarvasbika bőg a szakadó esőben, miközben megvilágítja a naplemente aranyló fénye. E szeptember esti fotózás nem indult túl fényesen. Az előre kiszemelt helyen vadásztak, így módosítani kellett a tervet. Majd jött egy hatalmas peremfelhő és egy órán keresztül szakadt az eső. Közben hallottam pár bőgést, és elindultam abba az irányba. Az erdőből kitekintve egy ágvéget vettem észre a domb aljában és nagy örömömre, a szarvas épp felém haladt! Szívem a torkomban, közben szakadt az eső és imádkoztam, hogy bőgje el magát a domb tetején. És megtörtént! A párás, esős keresőben csak egy homályos alakot látam, de visszanézve a kijelzőn ez a látvány fogadott!

Meanwhile, I heard a few bellows and started off in their direction. Peeping out from from the forest I spotted the tip of an antler and it was coming my way! With my heart pounding I kept my fingers crossed in the soak that he would bellow on the top of the hill. And so it happened! The viewfinder fogged up in the pouring rain and I only saw a blurred figure through it, but afterwards I saw this on the display!
