Párzás után a hangyaleső fogyasztja a párját. 2019 július eleje, Tázlár melletti homokbuckás. 2011 óta fotózom a hangyalesőket, de még soha nem láttam, hogy valamelyik állat megette volna a fajtársát. Amikor megpillantottam a jelenetet igen távol volt tőlem, először azt hittem párzanak. Aztán amikor közelebb mentem, akkor láttam meg, hogy bizony itt egész másról van szó.

I have been photographing antlions since 2011, but till now I have not encountered antlions scavenging of their own kind. When I first spotted the scene from a distance, I thought they were mating. But as I drew closer, I could not help noticing that well, it was a different story.
